True beauty lies in change: the Japanese worldview of wabi sabi is based on simplicity and imperfection. This gave rise to Kintsugi - a craft that uses gold embellishments to highlight an object's flaw, thus helping it achieve true beauty in the first place.
This world view served the DMB. Brandshop team as inspiration for the labels of the Wildshut spirits - because the production is based on a similar principle: Only through the distillation process does the simple beer attain the status of a noble spirit.

The hot foil stamped cracks in the label design stand for the distillation process that produces noble spirits from simple ingredients. The label is thus first destroyed in order to achieve true beauty through gold, silver and copper finishing.
